George, I use you board at my place of business and this thing flashing at the top of my page hinders the time I can spend on your board. Is there anyway you can make it smaller or remove it. I will understand if it is part of your marketing and can not remove it. Thanks. IP: Logged |

If it is an advertisement there is software that completely keeps advertisements from popping up on any page. It makes surfing the web faster. I dont have the web site right now, but I will look and post on this a little later. IP: Logged |

Guys, Come on, cut us some slack, Please You cannot have a free site of this caliber with no ads. It seems some of the bros want no ads, all of our reports for free, no supplement sales, and a Mass Quantities coupon when a drug deal goes bust. I wish it was possible. Well, advertisements are understandable...but the word STEROIDS isn't a good word to see at work by fellow co-workers... Perhaps the banner could be changed to say something different, like "AS" as mentioned before. Thanks, IP: Logged |

George, I am quite empathetic to the needs of a marketing driven environment such as this board. I'm not asking for removal of ads and banners.....just a slight font size reduction on material that may be offensive to unintentional viewers passing by my pc. If we all need this change so badly then why don't we all just pay a monthly due to use this board. Ouch!!! Didn't really think anyone wanted to hear that, just like George doesn't want to hear people asking for font changes and things he can do differently so that we can sit at our computers all day talking to others about gear and not feeling bad about it. C'mon....this is a buisness how do you think this page will stay open if someones not getting paid? I'm not trying to flame anyone and I do understand how everyone feels on the banner issue. I always make sure to pull up another page any time someone comes in here, cause I don't want anyone seeing that steroid banner. People already ask if I'm using. The thing is, is that we just need to work with what we've got. This is by far the best board for this sort of information and seriously I don't think I've met a better group of guys,but this board and you all wouldn't be here if it weren't for those banners. Easy solution. In IE5 Internet options, Advanced, check off the box "Load Pictures" After done with board, go back and place checkmark in box.

I feel for you my boss is always looking at my computer and in big black and white letters it says TO FIND STEROIDS CLICK HERE.. now if that dont look bad then what the fuck does.. You know what QUARKY and TONI those are both flames no matter what you think. The solution is turn the picture off and now I know how to do that. As for the question about pay a fee to stay on the board. I am a monitor on and ezboard and we have advertisement, but nothing that could offend people here at my work. I am not crying, if you read my very first post you will see that It was just a request or suggestion not a demand. So get the phuc off my case!! IP: Logged |
