Sorry, this is not steroid related. Well, I'm sure the regulars here remember me posting about my little confrontation with my dogs father and how he put 4 nice puncture wounds clear through my hand. Well, I had the stitches removed yesterday and all was well. So I started lifting real heavy again today for the first time in 2 weeks because of it. So later on in the day I decide to take my dog for a walk, so I strap on the rollerblades and take off. To make a long story short, I fall for the first time ever on my blades and break my fucking arm!!!!! Well, the x-rays didn't show any conclusive signs of a break, but there is a small crack at the point where the two bones in your lower arm meet your upper arm, where the elbow is. An x-ray can't see the ends of these bones, but the doc said that there are "shadows" on the x-ray that sometimes indicate a break on the ends of these bones, something called flyaways or something like that, don't remember the technical term. Also it showed a bone cyst on the lower bone in my forearm, not related to my injury though. What the fuck is that???? Anyone got any insight into any of this...I'm gonna see a orthopedic surgeon on Friday and their sending my x-rays to a specialist for further examination. I kinda want to be prepared for the worst when I go Friday. Thanks Slim "Grace" Whitman PS: Rollerblades and a 90lb Pitbull dragging you down a sidewalk at full speed don't mix!!!! IP: Logged |

I'm sorry to hear about you run of bad luck. As for the bone cyst My mother is a doc. she told me 9 times out of ten it is just a calcium deposit. Even if its not I'm sure that there is nothing to worry about. IP: Logged |
