I can't get out of the gym, god did i ever miss this feeling, i never want to stop the workout, i kill myself at a certain weight, then drop it and kill myself some more, and i keep on going. I never stop, people have to tell me to get out of the gym, if they didn't i'm sure i'd be there all day.

I just can't feel as though i've trained enough, i have to force myself to leave, do you guys get like that too??

God i've missed my good friend test!

I find when I'm "on" I can't get enough, but when winding down or "off" I can't wait to get out of there?

yeh, it all depends on my workout, how im feeling, and how things are going. When i do chest and arms i never feel as if i've done enough. But on leg day, i can't fucking wait to leave, usually im crawling anyways!!

yeah...I get that way on leg days. I know I need to stop..but I don't...and then I reach the point where my legs become rubber and it's hard as hell to walk out of the gym.

I am like Hardrock. When on cycle, I can workout forever, but right now I don't even feel like going and I think that this poor mentality is causing me to lose weight in the post-cycle stage, cuz I don't each that much anymore.

Am i reading what i think i'm reading?? Are my iron brothers saying these things??

Leg day is the most sacred of workout days! It's the day that separates you from the pretty boys in the gym, you know , the ones who are there to do bench and curls all day. Legs are the standard by which you will be judged. No legs, you're nothing. Tip you over with a stiff protein fart.

There are only three reasons to stop on leg day

1. Throw up
2. Feint, pass out or pop a blood vessel in your brain
3. Crash on you last three sets, try to walk to the fountain and fall.

Then you know you're done and your pennance has been paid to the iron god!

You tell 'em E2. You've gotta train legs like a maniac if you're really serious about gains. Nothing worse than a guy that HAS to wear baggy trousers to disguise his disproportionately scrawny legs. And the burn you get from a good leg session....Aaaaahhh

One of my best body parts. You must train legs.Or you can just wear long pants all summer, or never enter a BB contest. NOT

The old test buzz....gotta love it.

Let me correct some of you on stopping during legs. The only acceptable reasons for stopping are:

1. You shit your pants and do not have a change of clothes with you, unless you are permitted to train nude.

2. You break a blood vessel in your neck and can not find a stapler to patch it up.

All other reasons are considered to be improper gym etiquette and could result in your membership being terminated.

A big HELL YEH!! to that E2. I train @ 9000 ft.elevation. the air is very thin here, but to let the bar go down just so I can push it up again is an undescribable rush.

Its a great feeling for me to be in the weightroom when a bunch of bitchy "I do arms all day" punks are standing around thinking they're getting a lift done. Especially when its leg day, just so they can watch how to really lift. When I'm grunting and yelling on those last couple reps of heavy squats, I know they are watching me with their mouths hanging open thinking to themselves "I better not ever piss this guy off", then I go to another excercise and they jump to get out of my way.

yeah it really is a shame... At my old gym, the only machines you could get in on, were the leg ones. There could be a hundred people in the gym, and not one training legs.

a typical day when i cannot get enough.

2hrs weights
1 hr cardio
half an hour triceps
half an hour abb's
20min cardio
15 mins finishing weights

3hr sauna
then i still want to go back for more.

A few years back, I blew out my knee and had to stop squatting for a while. All my gains came to a screetchin halt, did I reach a plateau or did the lack of heavy squats kill my progress. I remember reading old muscle mags saying stuff like high volume squats increase your body's natural growth hormone
production, I thought it was pure BS but now I wonder? Any thoughts?
