Many farmacias in the main plaza, varying prices. I like vet stuff and was disappointed. 3 vets on the isle and none of them had heard of ref b or equipose. Wasnt about to boat to Cancun for gear. Oh well maybe next year. IP: Logged |

cruiseship will check you upon boarding. However not real good of a check. Buy a bunch of tourist shit in a huge bag. Make it big and messy. They wont thumb thru it all, theoretically. Or just tape some shit to your legs and in your jock. They cant physically search you, theoretically. Be careful,Mex jails blow hard. IP: Logged |

i went on a cruise to the bahammas last year and the check your bags when you come back on the boat. they themselves don't do it. the just put it on the same machine they use at the airport. laws are all different on a cruise ship though. once you are in international waters things are totally different. We were allowed to have alchohol on the boat the whole time, but once we got back to the US we couldn't. they didn't care if we walked in with alcohol we purchased on the islands. i was only 18 at the time. So, don't worry about getting the stuff on the boat, getting it back through the airport would be my concern. Carnaval Cruises just go through a x-ray machine.I've brought back 3 bags full w/ no problem No pins- Jock those!!! Customs might grab you coming back to the US - Just punch out the tabs and empty vials into another bottle IP: Logged |

I went on a cruise in August to Cozmel. I went on carnival and they do run your bags thru an x-ray machine and you walk theu a metal detector looking thing. Also they ask if you have anything to declare. One little tip, get your gear and come back right before your dinner seating. I came back on board right before mine and there was a line of like 200 people outside the boat. When you leave they have you put out your luggage the night before, DON'T put your gear in it! They take your luggage to a big hanger (or whatever) and turn the dogs loose. Just keep your gear with you. When you get off the boat you will not see customs, as they just check you luggage. Personally I think cruise ships are about the easiest way to get gear back. Wishin' ya luck, Ian IP: Logged |
