Im on deca ive been on for 5 weeks at 400 mg a week is it safe to drink? if not what will happen? IP: Logged |

Hey, I just wrote the exact same question about drinking while on gear about a week or two ago. I've always heard that you should never do it, and from what most of the responses were,is, don't do it. IP: Logged |

as long as you dont over do it you should be fine- though it is not recommended. deca is not hard on the liver- which is reason #1 for not drinking because alcohol is hard on the liver- orals are hard on the liver and thus alcohol should be avoided when taking them deca is not converted to estrogen by aromatase- reason #2 for not drinking because alcohol upregulates the production of aromatase- test and dbol aromatic drinking with them is a bad idea. however it will increase the conversion of your natural test to estrogen which combined with the progestenic activity of Deca could lead to gyno- but at 400mg deca a week this is unlikely. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Don't drink!!!!! More stress on the liver. a couple of beers (3) on sat. won't kill you, but, do you want to be a drunk or grow some muscles. Wait til you finish your cycle. IP: Logged |

My buddy went to his doctor and told him he was on stuff and the doctor said absolutly no drinking. he said your liver is already working overtime. I wouldn't recommend it IP: Logged |

My trainning partner he told me he did a deca/d-bal and some other stuff cycle, he went out got to light beers and e ended up throwing up blood and going to the hospital, he lost all he gained because they wouldnt let him get clomid or anything, he was stuck there for 2 weeks. Bluesy IP: Logged |

You guys have got it all wrong 1) There are lots of easy calories in alcohol, I can take 3 meals a day less if I stay inebriated all day. I would follow the following program when on your A/S course: breakfast - 5 pints lager, 2 guinness, 5 shots of any spirit, a 20 deck of cigarettes, a kebab, fried rice. Mid morning - down to the pub for several swift pints all followed with chasers. More kebabs. Lunch - bottle of vodka, and some rum, not too much mind. Mid afternoon - protein shake, made with whey protein and whiskey with a dash of banana for energy for your ensuing work out. Work out - mainly abs here, go to toilet and throw up, make sure to concentrate on the contraction phase. Can throw in quads and and bi's as you pull yourself toward toilet bowl. Dinner - pass out into blissful REM sleep and grow. Tell us how you get on. IP: Logged |

it depends on the roid. I myself had no problems with alcohol and Deca, same for Primo, but with Winstrol now that's a bad combo. Other roids may be bad as well, I don't know. If it is a roid that is heavy on the liver then no drinking. If the liver hardly gets hit, then a few drinks wont hurt. Do what I do: I shoot myself at 7 am, drink something at 8 pm, so there is max time between both (if this helps alot ?). Jeff IP: Logged |

It seems the popular theory is that one should choose - drinking and having fun, or lifting/growing/cycling and never the twain shall meet. even though one's liver is the largest organ in the body, it can only take so much. the body is spending enough time and energy recovering and growing from workouts without introducing another outside influence and causing the body to have to recover from COOH. that's my 2 cents based on what I've read as a NEWBIE... Don't drink hard if you are on orals, but I never had any problems with drinking while on injectables. Well, there were a couple of problems, the calories and hangovers really can hurt your progress. IP: Logged |

Bro, you shouldn,t drink while on period! Not only will it dehydrate you, but alcohol also reduces your metabolism which can spell disaster while on the juice. An occasional glass of wine would be ok but thats it. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Guys I heard this from a old pro bobybuilder. He told me that back in the day Arnold S. downed a pitcher of beer on nights he couldn't sleep. He would be so wound up on all the d-bol he was taking he couldn't shut his eyes. He claimed the alcohol relaxed him and made him sleep. IP: Logged |
