I know there are tons of posts and I have looked at alot of them. Do you guys think that this kind of drop will be realistic?
I have 16%b/f so I think it is. I need all the tips you can give me. (running in morning as opposed to afternon etc..)

Also, if any of you have a good cutting diet plan, I am willing to pay for it, if its worth a sh**.

I am currently 5'10 220lbs 16%b/f
Need to be 198lbs by May 21. I am going for the powerlifting state record so I don't want to go at 220's.

Thanks

P.S. Sorry this is kind of off topic, but the traffic is higher here than anywhere else, and I need immediate suggestions. Thanks again

Listen bud,

Dropping that kind of weight is ridiculous for powerlifting. If you were a wrestler I could maybe see it since wrestling requires more skill and leverage techniques as opposed to strength and weight.

I think that your weights would suffer severely if you dropped any more than 10-15lbs. I know that it is common for people to think that competing in a smaller weight class is better, but you definately won't be able to lift as much at that weight as you do at 220lbs. Fine tune your diet and get plenty of rest. Don't overdue the cardio or the sauna. Focus on feeling your best. Focus on feeling strong. If you lose that weight, I guarantee that you feel week and most likely it will show in your lifts when you can't even put up your warm up weight.

GOOD LUCK

Well the most fat that you can lose is 2-3 pounds a week! Weight is a different subject, you are going to lose a lot of strength, but basically I would go with a ketogenic diet(high fat low carb)and take a diuretic for the 12 hours or so prseeding the weigh in , then carb load like a mofo, immediatly afterwards and hope you gain some of the size/ stength back.
