I agree with the live and learn part. I learned that you roll the dice everytime you mail cash to someone you dont know... whether he was reccomended by a moderator or anyone...he could have been a legit source and got busted or gunned down in the street (they are still doing that in Pakistan arent they?)...... I guess your " bet you did not" statement led me to believe that mods reccomendations are insurance that you will get your gear .... mods do a great job and at times they seem all knowing but it is always a risk... sorry about your loss Les... I feel your pain Les.....and to everyone else....just because a Mod or Vet recomends a source is no sure thing for Gear....too many things can happen to a good source.....If you play this game long enough your bound to get burned....I know you did your homework Les....so peace of mind Bro!!! well the risks of getting scammed are high when you are buying illegal stuff they figure you can't tell the cops so they will just take you money and there isn't anything you can do about it except watch out for each other and post ligit scammers on this board thanks for the warning bro (sad to say but your loss was our gain) IP: Logged |

I can relate bro.....I've heard people say on here that if you get scammed you didn't "check" things out beforehand. That's BS........you can only convince yourself of so much, even if the mods okay it. It sucks, but happens to everyone if you do this long enough.
