Hey bro's, I'm reading this book right now that says 1 tsp. of hydrogen peroxide mixed in with water per week clears up acne substantially (in steroid users). Does anyone know if this is safe, at such a low dose I don't think it would be a problem. I don't care if it works, because as long as it's safe I'm trying it today...help! hh (shrinking) IP: Logged |

Have never heard that but i realy dont think its a great idea to drink hydrogen peroxide.. would not suggest.. what that stuff will do to your insides who knows.. probably bubble and sizzle in ur stomach like on a cut clog up your viens with bubbles.. nah i wouldnt do it IP: Logged |

try rubbing your face in butter flavor CRISCO and then clean it with sandpaper sounds weird but it works. IP: Logged |

Phreaky is right there is a food grade peroxide out there, but that doesn't men you can just drink the shit. Make sure its diluted well. This stuff might work but my opioin doubt it. IP: Logged |

Bro, Don't drink it. wacko! But hydrogen peroxide applied to the skin can help (like when you put it on a cut) Acne develops when there is a clogged pore. Better is if you make an effort to take several (2 or 3) showers daily.....stay clean. Matt IP: Logged |

Look, I haven't done it yet, but I'm considering it...I don't mean to use it as a topical, either. The book is an account of a bodybuilder and his life in Venice Beach during the eighties. In the book, all the users have tons of zits except for this one guy. When asked about his secret, he says that once a week he mixes 1 tsp. hydro peroxide in with his daily water, which is probably about a gallon. Sounds good, right? Well, the reason I came on here was to ask if it was dangerous! All other comments are not relevant to my question. hh IP: Logged |

I understand. In that low a dosage you will have no problem. Straight out of the bottle a couple of teaspoons of H.P. Will just make you vomit. I use it on dogs that swallow something they shouldn't. Very safe. IP: Logged |
