Did my second injection yesterday and just as the pin was almost all the way in,I think I hit a nerve.It was like a shock through out my leg.At the time I wasn't exactly sure what happened.I pulled back on the plunger and checked for blood,there was none so I continued with the injection.Needless to say,it immediately started to swell and become red.I massaged it with heat and it's gotten much better,I'm sure it's fine,but very painful.

My question is.If this were to happen again,should I take the pin out and try again or just continue because the damage has been done already?

Once you hit that nerve, you are going to pay for it. It will just be painful for a few days.

If you hit a nerve i suggest you pull it out and try again. Don't heat or massage the swelling from a shot it could get much worse. If you just leave it alone it will usually go away. If it doesn't ,then have it checked out by a doctor. This could be the first sign of an infection which could lead to a big gapping hole being remove from your ass. Just tell him it was a b-12 shot.

i don't know if u've hit a nerve or not, hitting a nerve is a verry painfull thing, but if u think u've hit a nerve pull backe and try again, the juice can mean more pressure on the nerve, and tht's bad.
