Maybe it doesn't stand for anything. Perhaps it's just easy to type and remember. Imagine having to enter a username like snuffalafagus everytime you post. AY IP: Logged |

No I recon I must be right, E2 =... Extra 2 restrial... now don't all clap at once. But this is true. E2 was once the xtra 2 restrial deguised as this in our lives and time. The E2 is the eqivalent as Robin Hood. Now, Robin Hood was a member of the community that took from the rich and gave to the poor. Is this the same person... It seems to me he is taking from the rich knowedge he has and giving it to us poor powerlifters... Maybe, or maybe not.but we all benafit, don't we...? POW ------------------ IP: Logged |

Then to guess even further/deeper... You were BSEE by graduation who saw there was better money to be had in CS, so you dropped the tech EE and picked up a language or two or three ? You are now doing solely CS and probably forgot quite a bit of the theories behind EE? Just a wild guess...

I was lying in bed half asleep when it came to me (like most of my exam questions back in school). So I had to get up and post it. E2 = EE for electrical engineering. O.K. Now in electrical engineering, electromotive force, emf, is usually abbreviated as E. Now by Ohms Law, E = I x R or rearranged, I = E/R. Power is given by the equation P = E x I Substitute I=E/R into the equation for power and we get P = EE/R = E2/R Therefore E2 = Power x Resistance. The resistance is the weights we lift to grow our muscles. Powering through the resistance is what has made E2 one big mofo. Simple, really. ------------------ IP: Logged |

kingDbol honestly i think engineering is an incredible field. You're learning all about the world around you and how to build things to suit your needs. Now, working in the engineering field is not for me at all!! I can't stand it! Then again i can't stand working for anyone, period! So maybe i'm just a little biased. But aerospace engineering was great, i got my degree in EE first and then did my AE degree, the AE was much more fun!!!
