Bros, As I mentioned in the "DEA Setup" post, elitefitness.com is one of the oldest bodybuilding sites on the net. We went live six years ago in 1995 and have over 8,000 visitors a day. We were wondering who has been around since the beginning and what names did you go by back then? Also, let's here how long some of the "old-timers" have been using the site. We appreciate everyone who comes her -- new member and old! ------------------ George George Spellwin

I have been an avid enthusiast of the board since 1997. I worked at a job that allowed much personal freedom for me to surf all day.....and my days were spent here. I have been seen under the names "SSMAN" and "SSMAN66". I was gone for about a year, but have been back for about 3 months now. George, I love the new format of the board....it makes researching MUCH easier. You have selected a great group of moderators........I have a tremendous amount of respect for the knowledge and dedication from each one of them. My hat is off to all of you!!! SSMAN IP: Logged |

Discovered the actual site in '97, and ordered the free reports, started posting under various handles in '98, but not too often. I don't remember/want to reveal all of them but I used Stickboy, Drpump, mrpump, and Amy Fadhli (imagine that!@#!@) I still post under 2 other handles currently. IP: Logged |

Been here since spring of 97. Been away overseas though for long periods of time. Posted under this same handle, except for when I was a newbie and would ask the same question under three different handles cuz I was so eager to get responses. I feel like I've grown up as a bb in a little community on this board and others. Can't express how much boards like this mean to up an' coming bbs. Never could have had the open input and healthy debates with so many minds involved anywhere else and that includes hardcore gyms. I guess what I want to say is Thanks. Take care... IP: Logged |

I don't know if I was here right at the beginning, but it would have to be close. Back in the day of the Animals, Asia the invincible, Bill Goldberg, and for some reason this dude named JBorre sticks out in my head for some reason.(I think he got busted or something!!) BigPapaPump was around then, but he was a little more outspoken and quick tempered then.(is this the same BigPapaPump?) I've never changed my handle, but I know a lot of you have, I don't recognize a lot of you now. I've encountered a lot of computer problems since then, but try to stay in contact anyways. It's funny, I go and read through some of my old emails and none of these guys are around anymore, or have changed handles. So jar my memory fellas, lets hear your old handles if you've changed them. Slim PS: Doc Savage, where are ya?? Haven't heard from ya since I freaked out on ya?(Sorry about that!!!!) IP: Logged |

Been here about 5-6 months I think. Ask this question again in 10 years and I'll still be here. But then I'll be in my PRIME. I will be 28yrs old, 5'11 255lbs contest weight.(I hope) I plan on being as smart as the mods too. Actually smarter than the mods.(hopefully they'll die or something so I can be the smartest guy on the board in ten years!) hehe..j/k You guys will still be givin me advice. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Found the board spring of 96 or 97. Don't post much and never have, I had zero knowledge when I first got here and mostly read other people ideas and opinions. Thanks to this board I have learned 90% of everything I know from here or was pointed in the correct direction. IP: Logged |

I'm Hans. Been here for 2 months, but before that I took a year off and was around earlier in 97 when the site was pink and the Hulkster newsletter was my holy grail for my famous trip across the border (still never happened). Used EPM, Hans H, beastmasster, and a lot more earlier that I cannot remember. I have a habit of changing handles every few months. Great site still! HH IP: Logged |

I actually saw a post from Big Canuck on Renegade. Most of the other old farts are on the V board or have disappeared. Has anyone heard from StanTheMan or Nebraska (just two guys who stand out in my mind) IP: Logged |

I have been a lurker on this board for a long time. I think mid-96. I remember the Hulkster. I even used to receive his newsletter. Anyway, always a top notch board. IP: Logged |
