That's one of the best articles I think I have ever read. The story behind this man is amazing! I am printing a lot of copy's to give to friends and family. I read that when I saw it in the newspaper..there's a lot of flaws in the story...like the lady stealing the vial and injecting it herself?? If it works...I want some stock in the company that is going to produce it IP: Logged |

Great article E2!! It's really sad that the NIH is so negative against giving anything a chance. My reasoning is that the big drug companies have all these Dr's at NIH basically working for them. Then along comes a small time Dr. that can't promise NIH Dr's millions of dollars or fame, like the big drug companies can so that makes the Dr's at NIH even more skeptical. Whether anybody likes it or not, in U.S.A., tax payers basically pay for the medication they receive TWICE, once by NIH using tax dollars to fund research then they GIVE away the cure to the drug companies, then, twice by the drug companies RAPING you with high ass prescription prices when they received the cure for FREE from NIH. Sorry to rant it just pisses me off to no end!!! IP: Logged |

Hate to rain on the parade, but I was living in Tulsa when this was going on. It was on the news everyday. At first it appeared that it was a cure but latter it in fact was not. My info was from 98/99 so maybe by now there has been more reseacch and it's true now, but a year ago it wasn't. Ian IP: Logged |

One thing about this article that modern science has never come to grips with, though I do know some real scientist's who believe in the Almighty, is that faith can really be the key to real answers in this world. Maybe, just maybe his dream is real. I myself as an engineer, know that some times you just have to fly by the seat of your pants,so to speak, and I myself have had some great ideas occur when dreaming..I believe him, never underestimate the power of GOD.We only prove our selves to be foolish mortals. As a person with HIV 10 yrs I seen many news reports that state they have found a cure for HIV or a new treatment which will work better than anything on the market and all were proven not to work. The FDA goes a great job on approving new drugs, better yet they do a excellent job keep dangerous drugs from reaching local drug store . All drugs must under go a strict process, all drugs must under go in vitro in test tubes testing,then in vivo in animals before it can be used in humans.If the data supports the drug does worksin vitro and in vivio then it can be used in humans in small numbers inPhase 1 clinical trails,if all goes well then thedrug goes into Phase 2 and then Phase 3 then it goes to the FDA. The FDA will approve the drug or deny the new drug thewhole process can take yrs and millions of dollars, The US has the best drug regulations in the world because americans have a very low tollerance for medicationsthat dont work or are unsafe.
