![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Listen, I think that this was address once before. I just want to remind everybody that "Do a search" is not a good answer for questions on the board. We have new people joining the board all the time. That means new experiences new opinions new point of views. If all we do is search the archives we are only looking at old news. True some of it is up to date, but there is always the possibility of newer up-to-date information. We don't want to become stagnant and stop progressing. We want to grow, we want to absorb as much as we can about our shared interest. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They should search, they need to know why 50mg of deca for 8 weeks is a sucky cycle. With all the opinions on cycles and dosages in the archives, they could get an idea of what to do for a cycle and how much to take. If the question was an informed question, I doubt anyone would flame the newbie. It's the questions like, 'I want to gain 50lbs of muscle, can I do it with 50mg of deca once a week?' that are worthy of the 'read the newbie post' or 'use the search' response. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What the hell's wrong with asking somebody to do a search before asking a question? I do it all the time (search before asking, that is), and I'm no newbie. It's polite. Saves people time, generates higher quality responses, and you don't look like an asshole. Not bad. There's even a Newbie Post. It encourages doing research, if I recall correctly. True, there are a lot of standard answers to routine questions - which can be found and read, and read, and read, by doing a search. This is a lively board; it's not stagnant. ![]() ![]() ![]() I agree that people need to "search" Questions like what is E/C/A and what is dbol have been addressed many times. Once a person searches and if they still have questions then post. Explosive IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If it is a legitimate question and requires a quick and short response, why should a "newbie" like myself or others have to weed through hundreds of threads to find a simple answer. I think giving a newbie the answer of "do a search " is a cop out or maybe it makes the person doing the response feel like he is a "veteran" or "to important" to answer some little man's dumb ass question. Oh yeah....and I'm no Little Man so don't flame me. Peace from the newbie. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() How about just replying by saying 'look at the post below yours " I don't think the board minds answer topics that are important, it's the repeated topics that are already listed that pissers alot of people off. How many posts can we look at that ask " where's everyone from". ANd the really basic questions like 'what is A50 ?" these are routinely asked and to be honest I know that I'm tired of seeing them. If the newbies and even the old guys would just take a few minutes and scroll down the existing posts, most questions would have already been asked. The last few days I've seen 4 different posts asking about expiration dates....get my point ? BPP IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() FlexB - A lways, depending on the question: Searching allows you to educate yourself. Why not search a topic before you jump on in and ask that question? Are you going to take 5 people's opinion on the topic - or - are you going to want 100 opinions on the topic? ------------------ The constant need for more information [This message has been edited by Michael Gigante (edited April 27, 2000).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hey bro's. If I'm around and can answer the question i will without saying do research. Now if it is something that requires a long response I may say we talked about that awhile back look it up, but if it is only going to take a few second I do not care If i have to answer that type of question for evey newbie. DO RESEARCH. We hell why come here at all then. Why go to church, just do research. The enitire bible has been talked about before so do research and leave the preacher alone. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Im wit ya dogboy, I think the search kinda sucks too. I was looking for what type of different dosages everybody recommended for clomid a while back and it took me almost 45 minutes till I got a really good post. But then again, sometimes my question was answered whithin the first 2 posts that I looked at too. Oh well... ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Guys, Try searching the non-board content first, this is probably the best information. Then if your search turns up nothing, try searching the boards. The problem with searching the board archives, is that it contains over 30,000 pages. What are some ideas that we can use to make the search better? ------------------ George George Spellwin

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is that sort of thinking that has 10 "what is clen" type posts on the front page at any one time. Questions that are new or well thought out get answered promptly but ones that could be found by searching the board or on any search engine get the "do a search" answers. I was here reading for years before I ever posted and found out a shit load about AS before ever asking a single question. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hey George, Why not have the topics in a catagory....like Sus 250 and all related topics....clen and all related topics....ref B and related topics....then you can click on a catagory and go....just a thought!! Ranger IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Personally I think " searching" is a great way for any of us to learn as much as possible on a given subject. I have been involved in the game for many years and continue to learn something new on here daily. Think about it, if you really want good info, wouldn`t want to read as many posts as possible on your subject ? Ater all, this is your body you are dealing with. true , it is much faster and conveinient to ask first, but the real bulk of knowlage exists in the archives. Okay, I will climb back down off my soapbox now, ------------------ IP: Logged |
