Some dude told me this whole board was a big DEA setup to find suppliers and users, is this guy overly paranoid or what. What should I believe?? Damn I can`t get any piece of mind, even doing healthy things these days!!! IP: Logged |

Tell that dude to lay off the weed man. Where'd he hear that from listening to an Ozzy song backwards? The DEA would be wasting their time here. There is no source posting, we just gather to discuss our experiences as we are allowed to under the great document of our forefathers. BTW, I heard from a reliable source that both Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton were both on test. That could explain why they were so quick to duel. Makes ya think... tell that to that dude.

I've been wondering if the DEA is behind some boards too. Maybe not this one but some of the others are much more open about buying and selling and one or more of them could be a setup. IP: Logged |

The good sources keep away from the boards anyway so don't worry about it. IP: Logged |

Even if the board isn't a setup you gotta believe that they watch. IP: Logged |

I am sure we got a few lurkers around, but everyone uses a handle and I hope everyone is on hushmail or hotmail so as the email cannot be traced back with certainty. I suppose the IP addy could get traced back to the ISP. Hmmmmmm Gotta research that one. IP: Logged |

regarding the ISP logs, it is possible though not easy to trace someone after they post a message here, unless they use an anonymizer service with their web browser. The authorities could in theory subpeona the ISP logs from George Spellwin and then subpeona the dial-up ISP for the records of the name and address of the subscriber who used a particular dynamic IP address at a particular time. But as for this board being a DEA setup, I'd say that's absurd. I also think the DEA has better things to do than to devote much manpower to haunting these message boards. IP: Logged |

the only difference in using a hotmail, hushmail instead of your real email is that it will take a good hacker a maximum of 10min extra to figure out who you are, and the US have such good guys, so thank god im living somewhere else and dont worry aslong as noone sells here nothing to worry about. Maybe I'm paranoid but I think these boards will only last as long as the Feds tolerate them. The gov't is still trying to figure out how to control the internet (control is their game), and I really think they are watching and use the boards to bust people. IP: Logged |

Gentlemen, I appreciate your concern, but elitefitness.com is one of the oldest bodybuilding sites on the net. We went live six years ago in 1995 and have over 8,000 visitors a day. I think that if this was a setup, it would be known by now. This topic comes up every couple of years -- just check the search engines. I think I'll start a post asking who has been around since the beginning. ------------------ George George Spellwin

This is the type of discussion I would expect on some cyrstal meth discussion board (assuming they haven't traded the computer for 3 rocks, a spoon, and a bunson burner yet). It would be posted right under "I mowed the lawn 47 times this morning", and just above "cleaning the house with a toothbrush....the early a.m. hours". SSMAN IP: Logged |
