I, like most of you I am sure, have been hiding the fact that I take steroids from my girlfriend who I have lived with for almost a year. I am prepared to admit that I am a fairly obsessive perfectionist and believed that I had succeeded in concealing my steroid use through meticulous detail & care - or so I thought! Yesterday she said to me in her usual soft manner that she, "knows everything that goes on in our house". I knew immediately what she was referring to but played ignorant to start off with only to hear her tell me that: 1. She knew I was taking both oral and injectable steroids So I admitted it and apologised for taking her for a fool and we had a long talk and I explained everything. We have an open and honest relationship and I was stupid to have thought that she wouldn't have understood. I know that she is still not happy about the fact but she accepts it and will support me. She has even asked if she can watch me inject next time!!! So to all of you that hide the fact that you take gear from your girl - be honest with her. She may be more accepting of the fact than you expect her to be. If you choose not to go this route, you may have to face the consequences of how it will effect your relationship when, or perhaps if, she ever finds out. IP: Logged |

its funny you should write that... A good friend of mine got caught yesterday by his girlfriend while he was talking on the phone to me about it. She was soooo pissed... He still denied it though which I think is stupid.. He said that he hasn't done it yet, but wants to... and he just ended his cycle last week... she'll give him the boot.. I thought about juicing three years ago but decided not to. At that time I had discussed it with my girlfriend and she was cool with it. Well she is now my wife and she doesn't know I am cycling right now. I would tell her but she's pregnant which is making her kind of emotional and she is no longer taking her medication. She would probably freak out. After my baby is born and she is back on her medication I plan on getting her buy in on my use. I am certain she would listen to me when I present my information and show her this board. I hate to hide it from her but I don't see how making her crazy will benefit either of us right now... I agree Mudworx. Honesty upfront makes it easier in the long run, its hard as hell when they find it, b/c then comes the question/assumption if its not bad for you why did you hide it. Slopain IP: Logged |

my wife's a doc (oncology) and she'd be astronomically pissed if she knew i wanted to do a first cycle, but its just so she'll have some fun muscles to play with when i'm asleep in bed and she wants to play, so isn't that a good excuse?????????????? IP: Logged |

Honesty is the only way to go. This is a weird situation I admit, but my girlfriend knows I take steroids...and, my mother knows I take steroids. She says it doesn't bother her as long as I'm safe and know what I'm doing. And no, she isn't for sale. :-) ------------------ IP: Logged |

My use of ASs is still pending investigation by my own personal federal agent (my girlfriend); her case is not quite strong enough, but she's working hard on it. She still firmly believes that all of you bros are actually females that I know from the gym and that I'm working out secret meeting times. Enough said. IP: Logged |

I hear ya primo, my girl always thought I was talking to "girls" on this board instead of actually gaining knowledge about the safe use of AS. Actually I just ended it with my girl just a week ago, she was an awesome lady, but I'm just not ready for "all of that" yet. I want to focus on my cycle and getting my body where I want it. But to answer the post, be honest, and if she doesn't like it, then you have to decide what is more important to you bro.

I talked to my wife about it (she is a personal trainer) and she didnt take it too well. She preached to me all textbook info. I still want to and I may do it behind her back...which I hate thinking about. I'm still trying to get more educated on the subject and as I learn, I am telling her what I read. Knowledge is power. Educate them in a non childish way, and they should see your side of things, otherwise, the life YOU have chosen, may not be the one they want you to have. Wouldn't it be obvious to your girl that you are on juice. I mean the gains yu get (from taking the right stuff) would make her wonder what the hell you are on. Right?
