Ok, I know that this is a hotly debated topic, as I've responded to several posts and so have many others. Here's what I just thought of tonight. Alcohol lowers NATURAL levels of testosterone, correct? Well, why stop drinking (aside from the increased liver toxicity) when you're on a cycle if it only lowers natural production. No one has ever said that it lowers your testosterone levels period. I could be reading the data wrong, but it seems that it only lowers NATURAL production so why stop drinking when on a cycle, except to keep your liver healthy? It wouldn't harm non-natural levels, would it?

All I know is that for the first time in 10 weeks, im actually going to drink tommorow nite, and heavily (of course, thats about 4-5 for me). My tolerance is nothing.

If you drink heavily on test you will get a ton of estrogen built up in your system. ALcohol not only lowers natural testosteroe levels but it directly inhibits your liver's abilities to break down estrogens. THis is called liver feminization or something. It can give you horrific gyno.

How about dehydration and feeling like crap to go work out. Also, your body does not get good sleep when you drink cause the body is fighting the alcohol in your body...... ------------------

first of all alcohol is toxic to the liver..also roids like test make changes in the liver (like bile stasis)..so consider the combination..also as ice says..alcohol dehydrates..not a good idea to mix booze and roids...i assume when u say alcohol your not talking beer, but the 80 proof gear

I must have posted this like a zillion times. Alcohol(ethanol) directly inhibits protein synthesis due to the fact that ethanol is processed before any other macro-nutrient. Doesn't bloody matter if it only suppresses nat.test levels as it INHIBITS PROTEIN SYNTHESIS. No protein synthesis=No muscle growth. Also, it dehydrates you and causes intra-cellular fluid loss leading to loss in strength. Also, ethanol+steroids tax the liver to no end. So, basically, alcohol impairs protein synthesis on the day you drink and the next day too. Thats 2 days out of 7 basically thrown out the window. Thats 29% less gains in the long-run. If you want to get F*cked up, use something else. Alcohol is probably the MOST DETRIMENTAL thing you could possibly take while on a cycle. To play the game you have to be able to make some sacrifices. Take it as an inverse relationship. The more you drink, the less you grow. That simple. Godspeed |
