Deca-durabolin cause gyno with two different ways first as it classified as a 19-nor Progesterone then it is a Progestin "Progesterone hormone like activity" which will cause gyneacomastia by binding to Progesterone receptors at breast tissue. Second, as it classified as a 19-nor-Testosterone it lacks carbons at the 19 position of the molecule, therefor it will never aromatise but it will converts to Estrogen not through the action of aromatase, but through the action of organic acids or alkalines in the body that act on nandrolone after it is converted to its 1-beta hydroxylated derivative. Provrin will never works in both cases, Nolvadex can works as it's not Aromatising inhibitor as Proviron but it will block Estrogen receptors that will keep converted Estrogen unable to bind to the receptors as most guys had mentioned that RU-486 will works for Progesterone gyno, but I hope you can find it easily with a good price as it's very hard to get [This message has been edited by Weam (edited April 26, 2001).] | ||

Unless you are planning on using really large doses....dont worry about it. The deca thing is way exaggerated. | ||

I initially thought that deca was relatively safe under 400 mg\week. But after doing research on my next cycle, I am have serious second thoughts about using it. Are these guys speaking from experience on the deca \ gyno issue, or are they parroting a past reply? I want to believe that deca is ok at the 400 and lower dosages. | ||
