Sly Accused of Trashing Ah-nuld

A journalist claims that in 1988 Sylvester Stallone gave her the tip that exposed Arnold Schwarzenegger's father as a member of the Nazi party--and even fronted her $450,000 for legal fees when Schwarzenegger sued her for libel. Wendy Leigh alleges in the July 27 edition of London's Sunday Mail magazine that Stallone learned of the secret past of the Schwarzenegger family during his brief marriage to Brigitte Nielsen, who had also dated the former Mr. Universe. Leigh claims that Stallone was upset that Schwarzenegger, whose action career was on the rise, was making cracks about him publicly: "It's a shame no one taught him to be cool." Ouch.

She says that Stallone, afraid he would be exposed as the story's source, offered to pay her legal fees after Arnold filed suit against her and London's News of the World for falsely reporting that he admired his father's politics and shared his anti-Semitism. In 1993, Leigh apologized to Arnold and paid an undisclosed settlement.

None of this is sitting well with Stallone. His lawyer tells the New York Post that the article is "totally false." "I've reviewed the piece and we're investigating pursuing legal action against her," said attorney Martin Singer. "In our opinion, she is a woman who has no credibility. The story is totally false; utter nonsense."

BDJ: I notice a lot of people take steroids because they are too lazy to train hard � mostly teenage boys.

SO: Yes that's what it is. But they're making a double mistake. When you take steroids you have to train even harder... otherwise the excess weight later turns into fat. If you train hard, eat well with quality protein, and take a good vitamin and mineral, then you can achieve a good physique. And a good physique comes from about 45% of your genes, whereas the rest is from training. So, if you're going to be something, then you're going to be something. If you're not, then you're not. But with all those steroids, you're going to be one of the group... you're not going to be different.
