I have a photo shoot comming up and would like to harden up for it. My body fat is down where I want it, 7%. This is my question, I will be using OTC products to shed the water, dandelion root. How far out should I start and when should I cut the sodium? During the last couple of days should I limit my water intake or keep over hydrating. Should I add creatine to keep me from looking flat?

I am 10 days out from the shoot. I was going to start 5 days out with the dandelion and drinking 1 1/2 gallons of water a day. Two days out, I was going to cut the the sodium and limit my water intake.

Is there any other OTC I could add to help?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Taraxatone from Cytodyne is good. Also, you might try mixing some glycerol in a creatine drink about 4 hours b4 the shoot.Glycerol helps to draw water from under the skin and into the vascular system.I wish you good luck!

day 4
600-800 g carbo
1,8 g protein for 1 kg weight
2-3 l water (diuretics tea)
no salt

day 5

Jan, I though it was the opposite front load the carbs until you are at 100 or less 2 days before then carb up day before and day of.....Taraxatone does work wonders along with heavy water consumption....

NJ - depends on you, if you weight 75 kg, then 50,100,150 can be more than you would need to deplete your carbs, but I was 94 kg, so it worked excellent on me.

Also depends on your bf level and muscle quality.

Can be 50,50,50, or 0,0,50, defficult to say, I do not know how he looks, so I wrote him how I did it.

This is something you should try before your first contest or whatever, I write diets to pro's, some needs 4 DAYS TO CARBS UP, some need just 1 1/2 days, etc...

BUT REMEMBER, this can totally f**k your body, you can be perfect 1 day after contest or 1 day before contest. PAY MONEY TO SOME PRO TRAINER TO HELP YOU, do not do it by yourselves if you have no experiences.

I read an article about a year ago that was anti sodium loading. Its been to long to remember the gist of it. What is the benefit of loading with salt.

Also I am 6'3 220 at 7%. The amount of calories I'd have to consume in the loading phase might smooth me out a bit. Should I consume the same ratios of carbs to protein but lower the total calories. I'd like to stay at 1500 to 1200 a day.
