I'm using 10iu each time after training. As Insulin is not a steroid and therefore there is no receptors saturation, I would like to continue all year. Comments ?

You will become insulin resistant and run a high risk of eventually getting diabetes. Rumor has it that Kevin Levrone is one of many bodybuilders who now have to use insulin for life due to getting diabeties. Stick to four week courses and have a couple of months off in between.

Strengthmonster , thanks for your advice. It is too sad for Levrone, he is the strongest. But maybe, he was using more than 10iu and more than once a day, don't you think ? [This message has been edited by bodybuilder2002 (edited April 25, 2001).]

A little advice mate, don't source post on here at all. I'd edit your last post as they don't like it around here. Yes I reckon Levrone and a lot of guys use a hell of a lot more than 10iu. Why risk becoming diabetic though? Fucking crazy to me. Insulin cannot be taken with a more is better mentality. It is too dangerous and will kill you if done wrong. I get excellent results using a maximum of 7iu on training days only for the middle 4 weeks of my cycle.

strenghth monsters right and besides theres more risks involved aside from just staying on too long. tell you a quick story a friend of mine whos an IFBB pro was taking a small amount but upped the dosage that particular day and as he left to go upstairs from his apt had caught a severe dizzy spell fell down the stairs, hit his head on the banister and spent 2 days in the hospital. not to scare you bro but its dangerous stuff be careful and make sure to take in a sufficient amount of simple carbs. |
