i inject 3cc of nerobolil and 1cc omna with a 1" 25g pin and i swear it takes a long time...but no scarring. anyway my ? is why is the fluid not going in sometimes? it seems to depend on the site...? i do quad shots and aspirate so i know i'm not in an artery... help!     | ||

In my opinion..25 gauge is kinda slim..try it with a 23 guage pin..should work much better...and faster | ||

I would try a 22 or 23 guage and you should be fine! 4cc's is alot bro, is that correct? split it up! Mass Monster | ||

4cc of oil based?? careful buddy. split that up. a smaller gauge isn't gonna be any more painful than a 25g. don't shoot it in too fast either. this will help prevent absesces from forming and reduces the sizes of scar tissue. | ||

Wow! It's not a good idea to use 25g for omna - omna is too thick for it. I always use 23g with omna and sust... ------------------ | ||

of course it's gonna go slow with a god damn 25 gauge needle. The first time i shot i used a 20 gauge, now i'm pretty happy with the 22's | ||

if using a 25 gauge, you could heat the syringe with water (not too hot), and you should definitly use a 2 cc syringe. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||

like everyone says a 25 is too small a pin..must take forever to fill unless u fill with an 18...also u would know if u hit an artery, it would pulsate | ||

No Rick, 25 gauge is not to thin. We are not talking about drawing up here, just shooting. For the record, i never, ever, use a pin thicker then 25 gauge and certainly not longer then 1 inch. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||

I posted this a while back, 25gauge is all I use it causes less scare tissue. Just as Jeff said heat the oil up I used 3cc in each tricep (the medial head) and in the delts. No problem you just have to work up to it. | ||

thanks for all the advice. sorry i wasn't clear on 1 point- i shoot 4cc total but 2cc in each leg. the problem is not the time taken (i don't enjoy sat there with a needle in my leg for extensive periods of time but it means less scar tissue so...). the problem is that sometimes (seems to depend on site in leg) the fluid just isn't going in. any suggestions? | ||

I use a 22 for any oil. Don't sweat it bro, it doesn't hurt, not like those 18 size harpoons that some guys that I know use! | ||
