Hey guys, I thought I would share something that happened to me Sunday night that really shook me up. It was late and I was getting ready for bed so rather than do two 3/4cc pgf2 injections spaced by 45 minutes I decided to do two 1/2 cc injections back to back. I rotate my sites so I decided to do pecs...I've injected there lots of times before. I inserted the pin above and to the inside of my right nipple about 1" deep, pulled back on the plunger and got a nice big empty space so I figured hey it's okay and pushed in half a cc. Before I could even remove the pin, it was like a sledge- hammer hit me in the throat. I was sucking and I couldn't get air and my body temp immediately shot through the roof and I had severe pain in the base of my skull and a throbbing ache in the rest of my head. The sweat started pouring off of me and my heart rate was elevated to say the least. This could have been due to fear because I was SCARED. I was totally in a panic and didn't know what to do...before I had an opportunity to decide, the abdominal contractions hit...this was less than 1 1/2 minutes after injecting. So now I'm sweating and shitting my guts out, my head is killing me and I'm gasping for air. The headache went away in less than five minutes, the bowel contractions seemed to go away as soon as I had shit everything in my body. I crapped stuff I had eaten 2 hours earlier. The breathing slowly came back and was about 85% 45 minutes later. Thirty minutes after injecting though, I drank a big glass of water and five minutes later I was running to the John with that water coming out of my ass. I really don't know how close I came to dying. The head pains were scarier than the breathing, since it could have been blood pressure related. What's the moral to the story? I dunno what I'll do now. I still can't figure out what went wrong for sure. I'm not putting anything else in my pecs again. I didn't call the hospital because I was panicking and didn't know what to do. Within a very short time, the headache and sweats were gone and the breathing was steadily improving. It was over so fast, I think if it would have killed me it might have done it before I could have even gotten someone on the line. | ||

I don't have a clue what the chances are. Perhaps it depends where you shoot. I've shot pgf2 well over 50 times. This is the first time anything has happened. Big Johnson, did you aerate? I've been shooting sust through 25gauge | ||

I can't say I've had a similar experience with this. The closest I've come was at work. I injected 1/2 cc into each bicep, and each tricep for a total of 2 cc's. And the shits hit me like you explained. Almost instantly. I literally barely made it to the bathroom. I couldn't breathe well... and I got very sweaty. That happened a few times actually. Was I in a vein? Was it because I had just lifted? Did it have anything to do with anything else? I couldn't tell you. It didn't happen a lot. And only a few times while on did I picture myself croaking. But that didn't slow me down any. To tell you the truth, the first 2 weeks or so, I didn't even pull back on the plunger. That's smart, huh? I don't think you were in any real danger. What you're talking about is the regular side effects... just REALLY INTENSIFIED. Glad to hear you're alright, and that you didn't do anything drastic or stupid in your moment of panic. Right on. | ||
