About two weeks ago, I finished a 11-week cycle of 500 test and 300 EQ with some dbol for about half of it. I am now on day 9 of clomid therapy. (I took 100 mg daily for a week, now on 50 mg, will do 50 eod next week.) Two questions: First: When does the damn clomid's intended effect kick in? Second: I have not had any problem with so-called roid rage during the cycle but now I find myself in complete rage attacks. Is this an effect of the clomid? I have read here that it causes people to become emotional, but usually they talk about getting sentimental or weepy. (I also teared-up during a sappy movie on an airplane.)Can anger also be an effect of the clomid? Thanks.     | ||

You finished your cycle 2 wks ago and you're already on day 9 of clomid? That would mean that you started the clomid after being off only 5 days. That is way to soon to start your clomid with the gear that you were on. You should have waited about 3 wks after your last injection to start using the clomid. BANSHEE | ||

I wasn't exact, but yeah, I waited seven days to start clomid. There doesn't seem to be any clear consensus about this. Some people said wait two weeks, some said wait a week, some said start it before you finish. People were equally divided about the dose. I'm still interested to know if anyone has experience with post-cycle "rage." | ||

Sure there is. The debate was whether to wait 2 or 3 weeks, Not 1 week. You have wasted a whole week and maybe more. Sus has very long lasting estes. I would have waited 3 weeks to start clomid. When people take about emotions with clomid, it could effect both ends of the spectum. From crying to raging, so keep it in your mind and try to control it. I would pick up some more clomid, because by the time it works, you will have 1 week left. I have plenty of clomid and will extend it a week. However, I was not using sus but Tornel's eth. With all due respect, there IS a question of whether to start the clomid after a week's wait. I followed the advice of someone here who suggested increasing my EQ dose the week before my last test shot, then waiting a week after the last test shot to start clomid, 600 mg the first day, then 100 a day the rest of the first week, etc. [This message has been edited by musclebrains (edited April 24, 2001).] |
