I have the worlds WORST digestive system, and I cannot take ANY protein, or even VITAMIN shake without getting bloating, gas, and stomach aches(I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Can I use eggs instead of protein shakes so that I wont be denying myself of much needed nutrients during my cycle?

I think if you eat a wide range of proteins, (lean meats, chicken, tuna, eggs, etc), you will be ok. Nobody really NEEDS to add protein supplimentation, but it is convenient.

Bro,
As Suspension said, as long as you get plenty of protein from whole foods, you're OK. If you want to add protein, but not shakes, try the cartons of liquid egg whites at the grocery store. These are pateurized, so you can just drink 'em (UGHH!) or scramble 'em up...whatever is easiest for you. I like to mix 1 carton (8 egg whites) with a scoop of whey and some water. THe whey flavors the drink and you get alot of protein out of it too.

Malkman,

Jeff Everson wrote an article explaining how his X - wife Corey Everson was able to win several Ms. Olympia's without ever using a protein supplement. It becomes a matter of diet and food preparation. You will have to really look at your diet , eggs, chicken, tuna, prepare your meals for the week on Sunday so you can bring your food wherever you go. Protein shakes are very convenient, thats what really makes them a bonus, but in your case, weigh the pro's and cons and consume high protein quality foods and you can grow no problem.

Peace,
NATURAL.

Some of the protein powders do that to me, bloat/gas/discomfort. Go to proteinfactory.com and look at the CFM Whey, it's expensive but it doesn't bloat me or cause gas.

u dont really need to add protein shakes to ur diet. if u were eating right u should be able to get enough protein from ur food alone. but if u must take protein mix it with water...........that helped me. and optimum whey is one of the better ones around...........give it a try.

There's no doubt that eggs provide a great source of protien, but if you're eating whole, raw eggs (non pasturized) your getting a shitload of cholesterol and risk salmonela.
