HEY GUYS, DOES ANYONE GET REALLY SORE ELBOWS ? I HAVE BEEN OFF MY CYCLE FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS AND BOTH MY ELBOWS HURT AND MAKE IT NEARLY IMPOSSABLE TO DO ANY TRICEP LIFTS. I HAD IT A LITTLE IN MY LEFT ONE BUT NOW IT IS IN BOTH OF THEM. WHAT DO YOU DO TO HELP THIS ? DECA IS GREAT FOR SORE JOINTS BUT IT IS NOT AN OPTION BECAUSE I JUST CAME OFF A CYCLE. yeah thats what happens when you come of thats one of the sides for some of us,just warm up tri's very light before you start hitting the weights hard that works for me. i know that pain very well, Good luck bro! | ||

Mustang I had to take off a month to let them heal both elbows hurt left one was so bad that I would just about scream while doing lying tries or braincrushers but when i would warm up with some 15lb dumbells doing 35 reps before loading up helped alot. try it you will see and use some icee-hot for blod flow to area. | ||

you need to up your omega 3-6 which are natural fats found in salmon and cod liver oil whats happening is you need those joints lubricted because of whatever excess water retention you had during the cycle has slowly diminished and your joints are not used to pushing the same weight that they were before also when doing any tri extention try not to lock out completely. | ||

Mustang, out of curiosity, where on the elbows is it bothering you? The inside of my elbows were bothering me a lot until I stop overhead tricept presses with the ez-bar. I started using straight overhead dumbell presses instead. Worked for me, good luck. | ||

HamStuffer, The whole area around my elbow hurts when ever I do any hard lifting and the tri's just kill. The Icy-Hot helps a little, I plan to take it easy for a week or 2 and not lift to hard so hopefully it should feel better. Thanks for the advice M18 ------------------ | ||

MUSTANG_18. I agree with everyone. I had the same problems with both elbows. I would however recommend L-Glutamine "Gel-tabs". Two days and all my pain went away. I still do the light warm-ups though. . Hope this helps. ~BigBob ------------------ | ||

Mustang You have always responded to my posts, so I owe you. My triceps are one of my best body parts, but to avoid excruciating elbow pain when doing Triceps presses, I have to warm my arms for at least 10 minutes, before I can add serious weight.

Thanks for all the advice! I came back from the gym today and with ligher weight and less sets I found that I still had a pretty good workout. My elbows pop sometimes but they are geting a little better. I have upped my dose of L-Glutamin and Flax oil also I have been using Icy-Hot on them 2-3 times a day. M18 ------------------ | ||

Mustang, take 2 weeks off will not hurt your gains, but will help your injuries. Dont take off any longer than that. Go to a Doc and ask for vioxx 50mg. That stuff is amazing.
