i found ephedrine hcl and mini thins at the local gas station, they have real ephedrine in them, but they also contain something that starts with a "g"(forgot what the name was). what i need to know is whether or not i can use this ephedrine with the extra "g" stuff in it and will it still be as effective as just ephedrine hcl only? mike ------------------     | ||

I dont believe its a problem... ive used with and without and its about the same effect. The ones at gas stations have an extra ingredient that makes me cough... Its an exspectorant or something like that. | ||

Guaifenesin is an expectorant that is added to ephedrine products to prevent methamphetamine conversion. It does not affect the potency of ephedrine in any way. | ||

the other ingrdient that starts with the "g" is also Rx by doctors, it is a nasal decongestant/ | ||
