stew I'm from kc the best jim I think is olympic gym off of north oak trafic way in K.C. all the gear you want and really good guys it like a family. and there is a gold gym (Huge) right off of vivion road in K.C.

I'll agree Olympic is tops. Check out the River Market Fitness It is the only 24/7 gym in KC. Not near as equipped as olympic though.Avoid SUMMIT Fitness unless you are into spandex and neon...RIP

Olympic on North Oak is good, I know a couple of guys that lift there. I lift at the Golds on Vivion Rd. The truly huge Golds is in Shawnee off of I-35. The equipment is not as nice (IMHO). I'll agree that the Summit gym has a strange enviornment but they do have some nice equipment. The Gold's gym in Westport has very nice equipment however it is a small club and be careful in the showers some of the boys are battin' for the other team.
