Anyone ever tried this? It's super cheap and I've heard it be compared to prop in efficacy. Is it worth looking into? Thanks. ....bd    | ||

I've done it, but only because at the time my supply was highly limited. Had good results. The process is easy but a little time consuming because you have to wait a few things out. You can do it easily with a fina kit, but first you must refine the 4AD powder- there is a lot of inorganic crud mixed in with LPJ's 4AD (LPJ manufactures nearly all andro sold in N. America), about a fifth of it volume-wise. You can do this by dissolving it in %99 isopropyl alchohol, regularly swirling/shaking the container every 5-10 hours or so over the next two days, then let it settle for about a week(the impurities will settle at the bottom-wait until the solution becomes crystal clear), and decanting the clear solution into a sterile vile, then evaporate the alchohol over a warmer (not open flame unless you want to risk burning the place down playing kitchen chemist) on very low heat over a day (depends on how much you make) while covered with a sterile breathable fabric.
