It is thought to have some mild anabolic effect. However, people use it for its antiestrogenic properties. It will effectively bind to active sites of aromitase enzymes and prevent them from turning your testosterone inot estrogen. This keeps your test as test and helps to prevent its conversion to estrogen. A VERY big advantage to every cycle and a must if youc an't afford Armidex. Clomid, however, is a fertility drug that binds to estrogen receptor sites in the hypothalamus causing the release of LH and FSH. LH stimulates the leydig cells of the testicles to produce testosterone and FSH causes the seminal vesicles to produce semen (in men). Clomid has NO antiestrogenic properties in any other part of the body regardless of the myths that surround it.
