hey guyz, umm i don't know if any of you remember me but i'm that one kid that posted my pictures on this board awhile ago that lived in nevada. well anywayz my problem is i'm 17 and well i'm still growing i know but it seems like only one side of my fucking body is growing. like my right arm and pec for example, my right bicep and tricep look huge compared to my left bi and tri, like waaaay more matured like it's getting bigger but my other side isn't and its stronger too, and well same with my pecs my right pec is waaaaay bigger than my left and i don't know what to do, it's fucking annoying when you look in the mirror and one side of your body looks unsymmetrical and less matured than your other. my right arm is 1/2" bigger than my left and my right arm and pec get a waaaay bigger pump in the gym too compared to my other side and well to top it off when i hit my right arm or pec it starts to hurt and shit, like they're inflamed or swollen or something, what's wrong anyone deal with this shit before, what do i do? thanx ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

You are over compensating with your right arm when doing your exercises. For example when you are doing preacher curls you are using your right arm to do most of the lifting. Use dumbells. Use the same weights even if it seems light on the right arm. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I suggest using dumbells. They will isolate and use the same weight on each arm so there is no crossover assistance from the other arm. Also things that are normally done with the "bigger arm" do with the other one. I had a similar problem. Every thing from brushing your teeth to pouring milk. Make the effort to use the smaller arm to do the every day things. Eventually it will even out. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Use dumbells when you lift, and use dumbells for the preachers also. Then add more sets to the left arm, Say do 3 sets right, then 6 sets left. I would very seriously consider going to a doctor to get this checked. If you are doing steroids, let him know how much and what. This could be something as simple as a spinal compresion causing some of your nerves not to function properly which will greatly inhibit blood flow to sections of the body controled by those nerves. See a chiropractor first. If he can't find the problem get to your physician! PRONTO! I have one trap that was much larger than the other until I had chiropractic treatment to straighten out my scoliosis. Now they are much more symetrical.....as long as I continue to get adjustments. Ya know what? all you guyz have a good explanation or reason as to why my god damn body is so fucked up like that, i think i am focusing on my right arm doing all the work too and shit like that and i will switch to dumbell movements i just want know know maybe how long this shit will last, i had a serious back problem that hasn't been fixed yet, it still hurts me and that could be it about the nerves and shit. thanx for your guyz input. peace ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

you don't say what you are "ON". I do not think you train natural, and i mean "natural". You could do more sets with the left arm, or using dumbells, use a little bit more weight on the left arm. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

DUMBELLS is the only remedie. Do one extra set with the left if you can. Good luck and I have the same problem a little. Symmetry is extremely hard to get unless you got the genetics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
