Anyone out there experienced both of these? Looks like I am going to go through with the vasectomy and then 3 weeks later start my annual cycle. Just wondering if there are any implications that I am missing. My doctor hates roids so I won't bring that one up again. The cycle is going through no matter what, the vasectomy could wait but I would like to put that behind me first.(makes me quiver to think about it but no more rubbers, YEEAAHHH)     | ||

That is funny. Had a mistake on the pill once and it makes some chicks fat and have terrible mood swings. I know that hormone production is not affected, just wondering if there might be anything else that I am overlooking. Procedure last like 20-30 mins and doc says that you can have sex after about the fifth or sixth day. Not that it won't hurt some but worth it if you don't want children(accidents happen quite frequently with traditional birth control). Well this is about AS, not birth control methods, LOL. | ||

HAD IT DONE, THERES NOTHING TO IT BRO. IT STILL THE SAME WITHOUT THE WORRY. I DID IT ON MY LONG WEEKEND, FRIDAY WENT BACK TO WORK ON MONDAY AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. YOU STILL NUT LIKE BEFORE AND THE SAME FEELINGS ARE THERE. IT MIGHT LOWER YOUR TEST LATER ON LIKE 5 YEARS BUT IF YOU ARE ON THEN NO WORRIES MATE, THE BEST THING I EVER DID, LATER DUCKSTER ------------------ | ||

i've heard of some anecdotal reporting of auto-immune reactions from vasectomy such as arthritis but the positive aspect is the confidence u have that "u don't have to worry about getting her pregnant" and have just good old sex..lol | ||

Thanks for the information. Sometimes you can't just talk real openly with the doc regarding certain stuff. I hate the lecture. Looks like it will take place soon. | ||

I had it done and gained like 30lbs. Doc said that is a possible side but doesn't happen that often. Happened to an uncle of mine too. Don't let that deter you. A clear mind without worry is worth it.  ------------------ |
