I'm starting Deca/Winny cycle and want to have Flutamide or Spirolactone to prevent possible hairloss. Minoxidil.com sell's topical Spirolactone, but Flutamide should be better stuff. Any experiences bro's? Please help. ------------------     | ||

I've never seen topical flutamide. It isn't sold as a hairloss drug so you have to buy the pills and make the solution yourself. | ||

Its unknown to many, but there is a 1% topical flutamide gel being compounded by community drug pharmacy- BUT you need a prescription and Dr.Lee (the Xandrox guy) is not giving out prescriptions for it due to lack of safety data, you need to find another doctor. The theory being kicked around is that the gel holds the flutamide on the scalp; the pharmacist says that crushing by hand will not make a fine enough powder to disolve completely in minoxidil- also this route may increase absorbtion into systemic circulation- Exactly what you don't want being a very powerful anti-androgen later | ||

I think Spirolactone sucks, it stinks and the loss from the first week of use is unacceptable. I am not losing my hair, just wanted some protection from a cycle. | ||

Yeah, Spirono works great for me, I get mine specially compounded so it is a 5% topical liquid (Dr. Lee only makes a 2%), you will need a prescription to get from community drugs. I also have propylene glycol left OUT of the formula for many people are allergic to it & it causes HUGE crusting and flaking of the scalp- in fact I have the propylene glycol left out of all my hairloss formulas.
