hey everyone i recently decided to throw some cardio into my routine (about 2 times a week or so) being 18 i really never saw it necessary to do it but i wanna try and get rid of that little spare tire i got goin here around my waist lol. how much would i recommend i do on my cardio days since i just trying to make a little flab fall off? 30-45 min on a treadmill?? any suggestions are appreciated. thanks | ||

In the morning on an empty stomach is the absolut best time to burn fat because your blood sugar levels are the lowest so you start tapping into fat afer about 10 minutes of cardio. At night time your sugar levels are high because you eat all day so you don't start burning fat untill at least 20 minutes of cardio. If you can handle 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week in the morning before you eat ANYTHING, that formula won't fail you. ------------------ | ||

THe people from testosterone.net say that doing cardio in the am on an empty stomach leads to muscle loss as well. | ||

Well, how much fat do you want to lose? I know you want to drop it asap. Once I did 1hour sessions 2x daily. Muscle lost? No, I kept my protein really high to prevent that. I lost 13 lbs in 15 days, in conjuctioin w/ an eca of your choice. I was still eating junk here and there. I'd also do an hour of weight training 6x week. Yes it paid off. |
