I FOUND IT KIND OF HARD TO GET IN ALL THAT PROTEIN UNTIL I STARTED BULKING. ALL THESE ARE FAIRLY HIGH IN PROTEIN: YOGURT, CHICKEN, FISH, TUNA, LEAN RED MEATS, TURKEY, DEER MEAT, PEANUT BUTTER, EGGS WHITES, AND PROTEIN SHAKES MIXED IN WHOLE MILK. TRY TO EAT ABOUT 50-60 GRAMS OF PROTEIN EVERY 2-2 1/2 HOURS. I'll eat a can of tuna, 2 protein shakes, a turkey sub, 4-8 egg whites and some other misc meats throughout the day for my protein intake. When I did my last piss test the doc told me I had unproscessed aminos in my urine meaning that my body couldn't take all the protein out of my diet.Thus 200 grams is fine! I know everyone is stuck on the 1-3g/lb but I ask you this: you really think that all that protein(money) is actually get used and stored in muscles? I don't! If that that were the case everyone all the time would be getting huge if every gram was utilized shearly for muscle growth. If your muscle isn't strained it won't store the protein. Therefore if you r sore then maybe the body will take all those aminos and store them but if your not healing muscles the protein will be used for other bodily functions besides protein synthesis. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

stick with 200 grams a day for your bw. have 5 or 6 meals spread out, don't skip breakfast. eat plenty of carbs or your body will use the protein up as a energy source.......... god bless ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I agree with fena if he's juicing he needs 300g. When I'm on I take 2.5g per lb. of bodyweight it makes all the difference in the world for strength and size. Some people don't need that much it's an individual thing. Your kidneys will be fine if your drinking enough water. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

i say go with 2g of protein per pound of bodyweight...drink protein drinks with all your meals and be sure to eat lots of other high protein foods...chicken, meat, and fish ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
