I had gyno since i was 14 and finally got it removed 2 1/2 weeks ago. Im now 23 and its the best thing I have done for myself. For anyone wondering, the surgery was cake. I had it done on a wednesday and by monday i was back at work. 2 1/2 weeks later I still where the velcro binder occasionally and I am a tad bit sore but I can go back to the gym and lift(except for chest movements) But as far as getting the surgery done...my insurance didnt cover it and it cost $3200. Best advice I can give to anyone planning on gettin the surgery is to make sure you go to a doctor that has recent before and after photos and make sure he is reputable. ******************* SERIOUS PARET ********** P.S. If you had the actual glands removed in your chest which i am sure you did you dont have to worry about getting gyno any more. You dont have the glands to swell or grow. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I had mine removed three years ago. The doctor removed the glands he said I d never have to worry about it again. My insurance covered most of it. Since then I have done cycle after cycle of heavy stuff such as anadrol, sustanon, d-bol and I have had no problems. I waited about three months after the surgery to start taking gear again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm having it done on May 8. The surgeon isn't cuttinr the glands out. He said it can leave worse scars and can cause dimples in your chest. He's using liposuction only. Insurance won't touch it. It's costing $3500 ![]() ![]() ![]()

plifter -- re-consider. I had the glands removed and all is well. At first there was a depression in the immediate nipple area, but that corrected itself and they look 100% fine. Insurance did not cover it since they said it was "cosmetic" surgery. I said oh a 6'2 guy with tits that's realy cosmetic, but that still didn't cut it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Im getting the surgery in about a month. I remember a post where some guy said he was doing chest like 3 days after the surgery. My surgeon told me it would be about 2 weeks before I can start exercise and about 6 until i can do it 100%. Doctors always exagerate, and I plan on lifting heavy about 3 weeks after mine (hopefully), and hitting a cycle about a month after that. P.S. I have gyno, just 2 lumps on both sides from andro, im getting the entire gland removed, no lipo, and im still trying to get insurance to cover it ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey guys thanks for the advice. Especially since I wasnt aware of the whole gland removal thing. Tomorrow I will find out if they were removed after I give my doc a call. Im hoping that he did becuase that would give me a peace of mind in future cycles. My right nipple is indented in so maybe it was done already. Thanks again. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
