There are no good hardcore gyms in Nashville -- it sucks. However, Golds just came in set up three new gyms -- they are big and there is a lot of equipment. However, there are some fucked up traits to each of them -- they have the rubber coated dumbells which makes the heavier ones about 3 feet long, the dumbells only go up to 100's, they have squat racks but no power racks, lot of little teenagers running around getting in the way, etc., etc. It's adequate and you can get the job done -- but it is by no means hardcore. As far as clubs go -- where are you from? I cam from Boston, therefore, I feel that each and every one of the clubs in Nashville sucks ass. However, if you are from backass land, USA then anywhere down on 2nd avenue will suffice. | ||

I was there 2 years ago, Music City Mix factory, and Underground on 2nd Ave were decent clubs, but unless your Country Music, there are n ot any good clubs... | ||

Music City Mix Factory has died and gone to the after life. It was good if you were 16 to 18 years old and had something that resembled a fake I.D. The underground has some good house music -- however it is definetely not my scene. Depends what you are into I guess -- lot of alternative lifestyle people go there. |
