My friend is on a dbol (25mg/day) and fina (75mg/eod) stack. he is on week three (day 18) and he is having a problem. He said his piss has turned really dark yesterday. It looks like apple juice. He has been drinking 1-2 gallons of water a day and taking cranberry extract. It doesn't happen every time, just if he goes an hour or so without drinking water. He also said there was a piece of blood (looked like a red gooey booger)in his piss. I saw it, and it didnt look good. He said his back doesnt hurt or anything, and his piss looks clear when he starts chugging water. What the fuck. I know this points to kidneys, but whats the deal?    | ||

Time to drop the cycle!! Not everybody's kidneys are ready for fina. He needs to stop today!! And if after a week he is still having problems he needs to see a urologist and tell the truth about what he did.  | ||

Alright. here's the current scenario. Drank about 2 gallons of water from 5pm-12am. Piss is clear,said one of two flecks of dried blood were in the piss. he just shot himself today, so it will be in his system for 3 more days. Is this going to fuckin kill him or something. He isn't having any pain or anything, he wouldn't even notice it if didnt see it. Is med attention really necessary. I myself know people who have pissed blood and were ok. He isn't pissing a steady stream, just a fleck or two occasionaly. | ||

Usually if you have any blood or mucus discharge in your urine it will hurt like hell as it comes out - kidney problems are usually associated w/ lower back pain, fever, and body aches and pains. Your friend needs to see a doc and have blood and urine test done ASAP! | ||

The doctor needs to be told the truth. This is no time to be screwing around. Let the doctor know everything. Tell him you dont want a lecture, just the facts and great care. As far as what they will check for, first will be the renal function of the kidneys and what level protiens he has in his urine. Probably will draw blood also and do a smack test. If they cant pinpoint the kidneys, pretty much be a complete physical. Fear is not knowing. Face this and get this taken care of. God Bless. Keep us updated bro. Out. | ||

Shit, if he's 19 I dunno...there is doctor/patient confidentiality, but I have no idea if his parents would need to be involved. If so, he still needs to get this taken care of. Better they find out now than if he starts having serious problems. ------------------ | ||

All i can say is the only positive I see in the situation is that he does not have pain and swelling. However this does not mean that he is completely well. Blood in the urine is abnormal, pain or no pain. To be hospitalized there would have to be some serious things found, unless they just decided to observe him until they can determine what caused this. | ||

The only good thing i am seeing (he is my boy, i looked) is that his piss is clear (small tint, not much), and there hasnt been that gooey blood shit exept for that once this morning. Not really any more small dust flecks of blood either. I appreciate the help. damn this sux so bad. | ||

I had the same problem when i was taking Dbol last year. Every day i would take my vitamins and have no problems, but the day i didnt take the vitamins, my piss was dark as hell, and it freaked me out too. Keep with the water, multi's, ect. See a doc. He should be ok im sure, but its better to be safe then sorry. ------------------ | ||

shit. He is taking his liver protectants and his kidney protectants. It was also going to be a short 6 week cycle. Plenty of guys do fina with out a problem for well over 6 weeks. dbal was for only 4. | ||

Jonny I think Mass Monster might be spot on. The darkenss of the urine could have nothing to do with the gear at all. It could be discolored due to the blood in the urine. The specks that you see are merely little clots like the snot that you get when you get a blood nose. However if the blood has not yet coagulated then it will definitley darken the urine. Drinking water will therefore only dilute the conc. of blood in the urine and appear to relive the symptoms when they in fact are still there. Blood in the urine can be caused by an STD or by a kidney infection. In the case of the latter your freind should get off the gear so as not to place unecessary stress on the kidneys. | ||

He could have liver damage. When I had liver problems my piss was very dark too (like strong tea) and my shit light color. My back wasn't hurting but eyes turned yellow. Drinking water all day is good but its not a magic solution, neither is milk thistle or cranberry juice. Some people's internal organs are just not up for the job of dealing with toxins like dbol or fina. | ||
