There are a lot of different ideas as to what amount of protein one should consume. The one that I use, is at least a gram for every pound. Some people use 1.5 gram per body weight, it all just depends on diet. I would at least try and consume your body weight, if you weight 180, try for 180 grams of protein per day. The more the better. Good luck with that cycle. It'll work nice for you. This being your first cycle, if you eat right, train hard, you could expect over 20 pounds of mean mass. Enjoy! --

Dit021, Hey bro, the rule is normally 1.5-2.0 grams of protein per pound of body wieght. If you wiegh 200 pounds they you are looking at 300-400 grams of Protein a day. Hey, just keep your calories around 4000-5000 a day and eat 300-400 grams of Protein a day. Split up your intake of food to 6 or 7 meals a day to keep your insulin spike up! Also, Make sure you have a good Protein shake with a good amount of Glutamic Acid for after your workout. I usually have around 3 shakes a day. Also, i have been trying recently to have wake up and have a Protein shake in the middle of the night. I have read many articles that have said that if you can do this, you will see a few extra pounds because, normally your body goes 7-8 hours at night without protein and if you were able to get some protein in there , it would be money! Just drink a glass or two of water before you go to bed and this will help you get up in the middle of the night. Peace!

thanks guys i'm gonna try and stay with grams of protein per pound of body weight. my next question is should this be tkane throughout the whole day or should i do it in one large "lump" spread throughout the day seems alittle more logical to me but i think i read somewhere it doesnt matter if you take it all at once

Yea 2g per lb bodyweight is a good intake. Depending on your size you might be eating your ass off.

definately split the food into 6-8 meals a day. DO NOT EAT 200 grams of protein in one sitting. that is a total waste

bro, I just started that exact same cycle. I'm hitting 25o ml a week and splitting all of my reforvit hits to twice a day. Once in the am 10:00 and the other an hour prior to lifting. The reforvit worked really well for me the first time I took it. Gained 25lbs on it alone. Hope this helps. |
