Here is a question I still have since I am a newbie and this is my first cycle. Is a pretty big air bubble dangerous if injected into say, the glutes? Now I'm not talking huge, but definately not tiny.

Its not the best thing, but your shooting into muscle and not a vain (hopefully) so its not a big deal to have some air bubbles here and there just make sure they are not to big and asperate when you shoot! Mass Monster

TO GET THE AIR BUBBLES OUT, TAP THE SYRINGE AND THEY SHOULD ALL COME TO THE TOP AND THEN YOU SHOOT THEM OUT. I GET SOME AIR BUBBLES WHEN I ASPIRATE BUT I JUST SHOOT THEM BACK FROM WHERE THEY CAME FROM(MY GLUTE) BEST OF LUCK M18 ------------------

BIG AIR BUBBLES ARE BAD = TAP THE SYRINGE AND ALL THE BIG ONES GO TO THE TOP SMALL AIR BUBBLES = NO PROBLEM--THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WILL STICK EVEN WITH TONS OF SYRINGE TAPPING

Yea just tap the syringe and squeeze them out. They are pretty harmless in tissue.

They're harmless. I routinely load air in a syringe when shooting winny in order to force it through the pin.

just don't shoot the airbubble in a vein, but you guys already know that. ------------------

The best way I found to get the air bubbles out is I point the syring straight up and draw back air into the syring after the gear is in and then push all the air out. It works perfect for me everytime. I never see any air bubbles. Push slow when the gear gets into the needle.

always inject in a 45 angle (or more, like when hitting the quads). When pulling back, the air mounts to the top of the syringe. After shooting, that little bit of air is still in the needle, so you didn't spill a drop. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short

takes 3cc directly in a vein to be dangerous...That bubble crap is a myth.

Stop with the vein stuff already. Haven't you ever seen someone have an IV inserted? The nurse does not "prime" the tube...they just stick that sucker in the vein, and let the IV fluid flow from the bag. Certainly the air in the IV tube goes in to the vein. Of course as a matter of practice you should tap out the bubbles before you push that oil! [This message has been edited by HelmsmaN (edited April 18, 2001).]

when you aspirate, that is not air you see coming into the pin. its the microscopic bubbles that are already in the pin. when you aspirate, you create a vacume in the pin and the air bubbles increase in size. the air volume is the same, just the appearance changes.

it takes a whole lot of air to actually fuck you up. tissue can take more than the veins though |
