I agree smoking is better than drinking, however its all bad for you! Bottom line you want to be your best and biggest don't do any of that shit just take some more test instead!

Hehe...i know ill get flamed for this but here is the story:
I started lifting about 2.5 years ago and got a druggie rommie during the summer session living with me during first year. Man, i did pot almost every day and acid or cocain every weekend. As a result by the end of the summer i was about 180 pounds(started at 143, did not get any fat tho, had my six pack on me). So i am not sure if pot actually screws up your lifting or help it in a sence of relaxation etc. Of course it was my first year, i slept about 12 hours every day and ate like a pig. I did hit a gym a few times on cocain and bzp, felt just fine.
Did not do any drugs for the last 1.5 years->testing for intern and job soon etc. Can't say i missed it.
Ps: sorry for english, second language.

no weed doesnt hurt you. I get cooked off my ass atleast everyother day (if its a good week), and sometimes even twice a day. And the next day when I get to the gym i dont feel any worste, if not better.

I smoked tonite! If you can jog five miles and smoke then your obviously healthy so its not that bad. but if you notice sides like poor blood circulation to your extremeties, coughing and shortness of breath well then your smoking better go. Anything is ok in moderation.

AMEN!

Smoking marijuana will reduce your motivation, but nothing else.

If you can overcome the mental aspects of weed (laziness, munchies), your gains will not be impaired on a chemistry level.

BTW, only smoke domestic sensimilla (Canada is OK, too). That Mexican shit will drain ALL your energy before Jerry Springer ends!

I was about 4 years a 5 time/week smoker. You wouldn't believe it unless you tried it. But the endurence at the gym seemed better to me high. I didn't do it purposely before going...and I would go when freshly baked...but an hour or two after the blunt goes out, there is no pain at the gym at all, and the relaxation is sweet when doing that fourth set of something.

Try it to believe it. Or just get high for fun.

I've smoked marijuana before. I couldn't put together a sentence much less think about training. To each his own, but I can't see any REAL health benefits to it. It is a carcinogen...

No disagree here....But It is still the vice I choose. I drink about 10 beers a year. And the beauty part is that when I want a buzz...I still find the time to lift, without the crap carbs from a beer. IF YOU MUST CHOOSE...as for the bodybuilding, the pot will tax your body less than most every other form of "recreatin". We all need our evils,...and a few puffs a week, when it doesn't hurt your lifting schedule (me), beats drinking at night before bed....even once a week.

My opinion only reflect whats for me.
Do not try this at home kids.

how much it will hurt depends on how much you puff. As long as you use your head (and not my 11ft bong from college), I don't think its that big a deal though.

i think that bud increases a person's estrogen level and decreases their testosterone level.
