Hehe...i know ill get flamed for this but here is the story: I started lifting about 2.5 years ago and got a druggie rommie during the summer session living with me during first year. Man, i did pot almost every day and acid or cocain every weekend. As a result by the end of the summer i was about 180 pounds(started at 143, did not get any fat tho, had my six pack on me). So i am not sure if pot actually screws up your lifting or help it in a sence of relaxation etc. Of course it was my first year, i slept about 12 hours every day and ate like a pig. I did hit a gym a few times on cocain and bzp, felt just fine. Did not do any drugs for the last 1.5 years->testing for intern and job soon etc. Can't say i missed it. I smoked tonite! If you can jog five miles and smoke then your obviously healthy so its not that bad. but if you notice sides like poor blood circulation to your extremeties, coughing and shortness of breath well then your smoking better go. I didn't do it purposely before going...and I would go when freshly baked...but an hour or two after the blunt goes out, there is no pain at the gym at all, and the relaxation is sweet when doing that fourth set of something. Try it to believe it. Or just get high for fun.
