I did my first ever injection today and it went o.k. though not as good as i had hoped. I need help on how to get all the sustanon out of a 1cc amp without getting a big bubble at the top of the syringe. When I withdrew it there was a large bubble at the top, I don't know if it was air in the needle or air in the syringe itself that can't help but be there, but the only way i could push it out was to turn the syringe upside down and push about 20% of the sust out, so I actually only injected like .80 of 1cc. I did make sure the stopper (?) was pushed down all the way when i withdrew.

you should remove the excess air in a syringe by turning it with the needle facing up. then thump it to get all the air to the top and slowly push the plunger up until all the air is gone. ------------------ | ||

I always get air in the syringe when drawing from an amp. Just make sure you get all of the oil out of the amp. You will hear a little sucking noise when you hit the bottom, and this will be followed by a bunch of little bubbles. Nothing to be concerned about.. Just turn the syringe so the pin is facing up and keep tapping the sides until all the bubbles come to the top. If you have a big one, work it to the top,and then lightly push the plunger until it pops through. You shouldn't get much more than a couple of beads, which i like to consider a lubricant of sorts. No smart ass comments, i couldn't think of a better word other than "lubricant", besides you know i wouldn't wasted precious gear for that, already got the jergens, lol ------------------ | ||

the problem is that the only way i could get the big bubble out was to push out like 20% of the sustanon, seems like a waste. perhaps i'll get better as i practice. I think i'm gonna fill the used amp up with water or some kind of oil tommorow and practice with that, i definatley have plenty of extra syringes to practice with. Are bubbles, even real tiny ones that dangerous? i've heard they can cause strokes. | ||

yea if you allow a little of the gear to get on the needle it will lubricate it a little while going through the different layers- skin, fat, and muscle. ------------------ | ||

i pull the plunger ALL THE WAY OUT of the syringe. break the amp and pour it into the syringe, then put the plunger back in... do this a day ahead of the injection & that will give time for the bubbles to go at the top on its own ------------------ | ||

yes, but still is there anyway to get rid of a real big bubble at the top? (when turned needle up) besides pushing stopper and wasting some of the juice? | ||

when will people learn that AIR IN THE SYRINGE WON'T HURT YOU (or interfere with the absorption of the steriod). if you've every pulled back (aspirated) after injection, you'll see that you get air out from the intermuscular space. as long as you make sure that you ain't injecting into a vein, 0.5 cc's of air ain't gonna hurt shit. the point being: don't be anal about a little bubble in the syringe, it certainly ain't worth the 1-2 bucks of steroid you lost by squirting it out. Just tap the shit out of it and "inject" the bubbles out. |
