depends on the person and what your schedule is like. i usually go in the morning for a while and then swich it up the night. i like changing things up. i have gotten great results off both. the downfall about the morning is waking up when you are in the gym so you can lift hard.

I lift at night or in the afternoon, don't have time to do it in the morning.

I work out late at night usually at about 10:30 or so. I like it better than early morning. It does have one drawback can't get to sleep to about 2:00 AM. Other than that i prefer at night. Hoss 69

I WORK OUT AFTER LUNCH AROUND 1 P.M. BECAUSE OF MY CLASS SCHEDULE. BUT I HAVE WORKED OUT IN THE MORNINGS TOO FOR YEARS, AND I SAW NO DIFFERENCE IN WHICH TIME IS BETTER TO WORKOUT.

I usually work out around 830 pm. This way after work I take a quick nap and have energy for the gym

My schedule sux now since I've started school. I gotta get to the gym by 6am, then workout as much as I can and then be at work at 8am. Then I go to school at 6pm. My work keeps fucking up my schedule so it's really hard to get a good workout in. It's not the excuse that I don't want to do it, I just can't possible spare any more time.

I've always gotten better results when I work out at anytime other than late evening. When working out late I don't have enough time to take in several meals postworkout...this really screws with my recovery.

I workout @ lunch. I worked out at 8pm for 2+ years, but I was always exhausted. I have much better workouts during the day.

I work out right when i wake up..first thing. There are occasions that I have to wait til evening around 600pm and Ive noticed that I seem to get bigger pumps when i go in the evening. I thought it was weird..maybe it has something to do with eating throughout the day before working out...i dont know.

I like to do some light cario work (about 40 mins) @ 6:30Am. Then back in the gym for lifting @ 6PM until about 7:30PM.
This way you get best of both worlds and if on a mass cycle can do 1 bodypart in the morning and 1 at night and leave the cardio. This seems to work for me and also means i get to see my kids and workout enough.

A.M. I do cardio

At lunchtime or afterwork (5pm) I lift.

When not cutting/doing cardio, I try to get weights done in the AM right after a very small meal. I think its good bc I get to feed my body all day.

If I work out too late, I feel the extra calories I consume right after a workout just sit in me and get me bloated while I sleep.
