i just read a new study in muscle and fitness about protein synthesis. They noted that their studies shows no difference in protein absorbsion between those that took protein ever 4 hours and those that took it in one lump mid day meal. ANybody else have any other info on this subject? I don't know about you guys but it would be a lot easier for me to gulp down one shake with 4 times as much proien in it than makeing 4 separate shakes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The problem with that is your body can only absorb a certin amount of protein at one time about 45-50grms any more then that and your wasting it also it's better to have a steady stream through the day so that your body will absorb a higher amount - I mean it's common sense 300grms in one sitting or 300 spread through the day. Hell of alot easier on the stomach too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Try taking 300 grams of protein and see how long you keep your kindeys. It may not affect absorbtion, but evenly spacing it out makes it easier for your kindeys and probably your liver too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
