Anyone who can help my friend answers this question(he does not have computer axis), he would really appreciated it. He is having some pain of the mid to outter shoulder. He is also having some pain in his bicep brachialis(sorry about the spelling) and occasionally some discomfort in his chest way up almost in his arm pit area. I know this sounds fucked, but that is what he is complaining of. He say the pain comes and goes. The most of the pain that bothers him is the area of his outter shoulder area. He is pretty sure it is not a rotator cuff injury, but not sure. He seem to think it might still be bursities, but would like some other opinions. All what should he do to fix the problem. Thanks

i am a therapist at a hospital everyday. if it was a tear it would be bruised. the pain can be test with ROM excercise against and with gravity. if it is a tear the pain will hurt with little or much resistance, depending on the size of the tear. bursitis and also a tear can be seen by an MRI taken by your doctor. go see him asap before things get worse. how did this pain come about?

Kid, He said that he noticed some sorness after a chest workout. Then 2 days later he when he was training biceps he felt what he called a extremely small pull in his shoulder. He said that he continued his workout with no trouble. This is why he is not sure what the problem could be. Any help would help him kid. Oh, he did see a orthopetic and he told him that is was a mionor pec tear of the maximum pec, and said to rehab it and it should heal. Either way, he would love to hear your opinion. Please post or email me.

sounds pretty possible. i would go for the MRI because this test will give the doctor a good look at it. he will be able to see if it is a tear or bursitis. i would recommend not lifting until, just incase it is a tear. you will make it a lot worse and less rehabable if you keep on working out. if it is a small tear of the pec major, you would not feel a pull in the shoulder, it would be in the upper outer chest area. it could also be tendonitis? |
