Has anyone tried out the routines recommended by Pavel Tsatsouline? He's a former Russian commando who lives in the US now and trains SWAT teams, law enforcement, and military personnel. The stuff he recommends seems pretty unusual, but the people he trains rave about their results. I'd like to hear if anyone has tried his programs, and what results they got. Yeah I bought his power to the people book a while back. He does give quite a lot of interesting tips. One problem, he gives you WAAAY too many tips. If I had about 5 extra brains I could prolly remember everything he recommends you do for deadlift while I am deadlifting. His routines, though interesting, only include two exercises. Think what you like of this, he recommends it for everyone cept powerlifters. I tried his program, and I've been deadlifting and powerlifting for quite a while w/o any problems. By day three I had seriously pulled some back muscles and had to take a lot of time off. Dumbass me had started his program shortly before a meet too but oh well. But you know what they say, everything works for someone. |
