i had a shoulder injury a few weeks ago. I was asking the same thing on the board. Mine stuck with me for almost 3 weeks. I kept working it hard which was bad. i stopped working my shoulders for a week and used an ice pack which is good for about 10 mins at a time. this increases the blood flow to the area. after about 10 mins the capilaries shut down so go 10 mins on and 10 mins off. After one week off doing shoulders, i started back doing em real light. i tried to limit my upward movement. now im almost back to where i was before. I still dont know if it was a rotator cuff problem or a tendon. If it was a rotator cuff, i still might have problems later on. im hoping for the best. Try that and if it doesnt improve you might want to see a doc.

I hurt mine 9 months ago the doc told me to reach behind my sholder blades then told me to touch my other shoulder with my elbow shoulder level and if it hurt than I might have a rotator problem.Thank god it didn't hurt I think I just pulled a muscle.

i assume you mean what AS is best for this. you can try deca, but the best thing for you is to lay off it and not work it at all for a while.

I had shoulder problems from football. Couldn't do bench, flys, anything with my tris. An MRI showed that I tore the labrum, which is the cartilage cushions your shoulder joint, the torn piece of cartilage was on a nerve and only certain execises made it ache. It was something that took 3 MRI's to finally catch, but I had surgery to repair it, and I am at 100% again

I would lay off for a while bro keep ice on it and if it continues it might be serious. I had surgery on my right shoulder years back from lifting and i wouldn't take a break just kept straining it, but after surgery and recope time it healed .

I have two torn rotator cuff right now. Really sucks. One has tobe cut on and the other they are hoping will heal. They have to basically split your biceot to work on it. The Doc. said that I would loose most of the mass in my shoulders. And that recovery times are 6 to 10 months. It is simple, take a little time off now or alot later!

I wasn't stretching enough, and that is what smoked me. Very impotant!

I dislocated my shoulder a year ago, my doc told me to do some excersices that consisted of this. Take a 5lb plate or dumbell and hold it out in front of you with your bicep to your side and slowly bring the weight out to as close to a 90 degrees and back. My shoulders are stronger then ever and I still use this as a warm up every work out. Hope this helps, good luck.

I usually have shoulder pain for a couple of days after i do a heavy chest workout. I just try to take it easy for a while and the pain usually goes away. Try warming up good before doing any shoulder movements especially heavy work. You should expect some soreness and pain but not so much it hinders your training. If you do you should get it checked by a doctor. Rotator cuff injuries are bad news.Maybe should just lay off for a while! Hope this helps ya out bro! hoss69
