I continually read statements from guys complaining about the pain of shooting..."oh, it hurts", "does it always hurt that bad", "my clit hurts", and frankly I am getting fed up with it. I start to wonder if some of those complainers have any clue what real pain feels like. Granted I've dealt with a serious back problem for several years which helps me dealing with pain, but buck the fuck up. You are shooting foreign chemicals into your body via a frickin needle, its not supposed to feel as good as the peck on your cheek you get every morning from mommy! Sorry for the outburst....I have just been really f'n edgy today for some reason.    | ||

Thats funny,I had to coach my buddy over the phone this morning thru his first injection of Sust.He freaks out when I tell him how I inject 500mg into my shoulder.Its painful but to me its a good kinda pain.. | ||

No 24/7 I have not. What I have had is 13-3 shot series of epidurals in my back, 2 series of 18 shot cortizone combo's, and 5 coital shots up my tailbone. Along with my current prescription of deca and sus, I feel fairly confident I could tough out a shot in the thigh. I feel like a frickin pin cushin....and yes, if there is such a thing as a 'good pain', gear is it. | ||

Its all relative. I was a Medic in the Army & during training we spent 1 week giving each other shots, taking IVs, drawing blood from each other, etc. After a week of having a bunch of 17 & 18 yr old PVT's giving you shots, shaking like a leaf, blood spewing everywhere, chicks passing out, and so on, a shot or 2 a week is no big deal. At least on gear you know something good is going to come out of the momentary pain. | ||

It just makes so little sense to me....some examples: -going in for a haircut and being pissed you have less hair. -buying a dog and bitching because you have to buy dog food. -buying a car and complaining to the cashier at the station about how you just cannot believe the thing needs gas to run. It's what they call an oxymoron, and frankly I think anybody who bitches about a little self-inflicted stick is a moronic pussy. Does that clear up my feelings on the topic at all? Kudos on the pain you've suffered rookie, you've had your share. You weren't doing much heavy lifting at the time where you? For me,it's the distraction caused by the pain.I dont need it when I'm squatting 500. You have a point, there is alot of whinning going on. | ||

The only time i've "whined" if you want to call it that about taking any type of shot was the first time I used TToykko sust, and there were plenty of people on this board who also posted threads talking about the pain that stuff caused. I don't have any problem with pain, but when taking 1cc of sust in your quad makes you basically imobile for 4-5 days, I don't see there is anything wrong with telling people about it. I don't think that's whining. Kindda like when you cut yourself and you spout off all kinds of four letter words.. cuz it fuckin hurts.. same thing, I told everyone how bad ttoyko sust hurts, doesn't mean im a "whiner" or can't take pain. BTW, I don't "bitch" about taking shots. Shots don't bother me. But when you get some dirty mexican shit that makes your leg feel like its gonna rot the fuck off, im gonna say something. "Spunky, should I assume that you not only bitch about taking a shot, but you cry too?" What, are you so hardcore you don't cry? Im not the emotional, cry all the time type, but when i feel like crying I cry. Spunky, I was strictly trying to make the point (I thought my examples made that abundantly clear) that IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY, so buck up and quit whining like a little girl. Its like singing to the choir in here when you complain about something we all obviously do and endure. I am not claiming to be some tough guy, but for you to complain about a little ache in your ass or thigh, I seriously doubt you have ever experienced what pain really is or feels like. I experience worse pain every day, whether that be back pain or self inflicted pain in the weightroom. Last time I checked I was entitled to my opinion, and I think my opinion is quite obvious at this point. Complainer of gear pain = big f'n puss. hehe =) Actually I think its YOU that doesn't understand. I never whined. I said it hurt like hell. I've never cried over an injection. But when you have a job that requires you stay on your feet for 8+ hours and your leg is swollen all to hell, thats pain. Are you so tough that you can't admit when something hurts? Sounds like you've got alot of agression built up from your years of "I'm a tough guy, I don't cry" syndrome. U can cry on my shoulder anytime. Much love. =) | ||

Spunky, why does it offend you so much that people bitchin about pain bugs the shit out of me? I thought I explained myself well enough, but I will try it a little slower this time. Getting hit by a drunk driver and breaking your leg = involuntary pain. Getting hit by some big bastard at a party because you looked like some little punk he had beat up before = involuntary pain. Sticking a needle in your ass/shoulder/thigh full of God only knows what kind of chemicals in order to get huge = VOLUNTARY PAIN. GettingDeisel, come on, threats via a message board....I take back the 'gay' implication Spunky, I will now officially label your threat 'gay'.

I never get pain from shots...if I do, I usually don't feel it. I don't like to hear whining, but shit, if it HURTS you should say something. Being lifters, we all know the difference between PAIN and soreness. Pain isn't good...soreness, exhaustion and sesitivity is ok. ------------------ | ||

The pain was worth it when I was injecting five cc's of Jurox suspension a day in my bi's, tri's, and shoulders. I couldn't function but THE PAIN WAS OOOO, SO WORTH IT. Not to mention one Sust daily, one Para Daily, two Primo Depot's, four cc's of EQ every other day, one cc of methandriol Dipropionate daily, and 3 ccs of Decanandrolen weekly. I was in some fucking PAIN. I grew like an old guy's pecker at a Hooter's convention though, and it was so worth it. Pupies are a great source of protein. Later | ||

Breaking a leg is one thing, not the worst. I remember on the woman's board a girl who lost her leg in an accident, so that is worse. Someone hitting you at a party, well all depends on the moment: you know, drinking too much, feeling that nothing can happen to you. The Colonoscopy, i pass for that. Shut up about this. I respect your back problem, I have a very serious one as well... I've gone through the shots, and therapy and all that shit. The doctors say my condition has already ended my pro wrestling career before it got off the ground. Inject 66 shots of pgf2a a week... while having the back injury, and still wrestling in a ring with only 3/4 inch of padding, and a 3 inch give, and I'll say you have the right to complain. No one likes pain. It hurts. I don't think people are complaining. I think they're simply stating fact. Some shots hurt. Period. Get off your high horse. | ||
