I'm pretty lean, at least for a 16 year old. I am 6 foot and about 160 pounds, mostly muscle. I'm trying to bulk up (but not to a bodybuilder) and gain definition at the same time. What are the best exersises and supplements to use and possibly cycle for the most efficient results? I know there is no miracle pill and/or workout routine but I feel like i am leaving something out...suggestions are encouraged. P.S I am taking alpha-lipoic acid pills right after my workout as well as hydroxycut. I take no more than 100 mg of alpha-lipoic acid a day and no more than 9 hydroxycuts a day. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

It sounds like you are doing well... If you want to gain good quality size here are the exercises you should concentrate on... Squats, Deadlifts, Bench, Bent Over Row, Pull-Ups, Dips, Close Grip Bench, Barbell Curls. Learn how to do them correctly...meaning don't just try to see how much weight you can move, but learn how to do them effectively to give you the best results. Go to Testosterone.net and do a search on "Poliquin". His articles are great and there is a wealth of info there for the natural trainee. At 16, I hope you are not considering steroids. You really don't need them. You can easily put 30-35 pounds on your frame by eating a high calorie diet and training with the core movements.
