http://www.smart-drugs.net/product-info/info-ATP.htm I have heard of intramuscular injections of ATP given to race hoarses, however never orally bioavailable ATP. Bullshit? ------------------

Wow, most of the ATP that I've worked with is derived from bacteria or porcine based; and is expensive. Furthermore, the it must be kept cold (usually on dry ice). It is always in mini-vials containing between 1.0 - 30 mg of product. If this is legit it would be a marketing masterpiece. I would think that it would be processed and excreted rapidly by the kidneys, with very little (if any) reabsorption. Macro, anyone? ------------------

WEll, I believe your body produces enough ATP(that is needed) and supplementing it wouldn't help a bit. But thats my opinion. I will asked my teacher about this and see what he has to say. Late!

Your average 70kg man, at rest, produces 50kg of ATP a day. I doubt you could better this by supplementation! It looks like just another get rich quick ploy.

quote: You sure about that number? 50Kg? 50Kg=50 000g Average Metabolic rate of a 70Kg human is roughly 2500Kcals So you're telling me 50 000grams of ATP have a calorific value of only 2500Kcals??? ATP=Adenosine TRI-phosphate. The calorific value of this compound would have to be ludicruously low to satisfy your statement.(which is just not the case) Care to comment? Godspeed |
