OK, I have not lifted for more then 10 year. Last time was in high school to compete at 138lbs. I just started lifting again and during the first 2-3 weeks I gained about 5-7lbs. My diet was not in order yet and I was surprised as I have always been a hardgainer. The last 2 weeks I have gained nothing. Does this sound right? I was surprised at the first "easy" gains and now I am surprised at why they left. BTW currently I am a skinny 165, so I don't think muscle memmory comes into play as I have never been very big? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

It was most likely just water. The body will take on extra fluid to protect joints and organs when put under abnormal physicla stress(lifting). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
